Araliya Green City

We had a wonderful stay at Araliya Green City. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was delicious with a great variety, and the overall atmosphere made our stay truly relaxing. A special thank you to the team for preparing a beautiful anniversary cake for us. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made our celebration even more memorable. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend Araliya Green City to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We stayed at Araliya Green City Hotel, Nuwara Eliya (Honeymoon Suite with bathtub) on 19 July. We were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. When we entered the room there was no honeymoon decoration or special setup. After I reported this to management, a room attendant returned and asked five minutes to set up decorations while we were still in the room; I declined because we were already settled. No staff member came back to apologize until I raised the issue again with housekeeping management, which should have been handled more promptly. During the evening we received repeated phone calls asking whether we had ordered “lamp rice,” which we had not. A short time later two young staff members stood outside our door and repeatedly knocked and touched the door asking the same question. This made us uncomfortable. In the morning the kettle provided for tea was very dirty (I have attached a photo). Overall the housekeeping and staff handling of these matters were poor and did not match our expectations for a honeymoon suite. We hope the hotel improves staff training, guest communication, and cleanliness checks. Because we were guests on a special occasion, these issues were particularly disappointing. We appreciate any follow-up from management. This is the only negative review I posted for my honeymoon trip, covering the entire experience from start to finish.

Superb Hotel ,best locations rooms are very spacious clean location is fantastic. Room service is good entirely it was an very pleasant and comfortable stay . Indian food was an disappointment . They have Indian corner but taste of most of the items is not at all close to Indian taste . But they offer a lot of varities in desserts. Over all very good stay .

Ok finally I made it to Araliya GreenCity Last week. I've spent a day or two at their Green hills properties 6 years ago. I always wanted to visit this one in the roundabout. It was a great hotel, staff was very friendly. Food served was good. Also, might I add a few suggestions. Just slightly improve the maintenance too also, I didn't notice napkins being served when dining. I don't know if it's a thing or not. Just something I noticed. I'm someone who look into every detail. I noticed a table mat that was hacked and all, so just if you maintain these little details too it would have been extra super. Anyhow keep maintaining this beautiful hotel.. hoping to visit again.
