Extremely disappointed with the service at Arpico Super Center Matara. I purchased goods worth around LKR 25,000, including a multi-plug adaptor, but the cashier failed to put the adaptor in my bag. Because of her mistake, I had to waste my time and fuel to come back again. What is more disappointing is her attitude. There was no apology, no smile, no courtesy. She always looks angry and uninterested in customers. I visit this supermarket almost every day, and I have repeatedly noticed the same behavior from this cashier. Customer service is about respect and professionalism. Talking about personal family problems while handling customers is highly unprofessional. It feels like customers are not valued at all. For a well-known supermarket, this kind of service is unacceptable. Management should train staff properly or take necessary action. If this continues, loyal customers will start choosing other supermarkets. Very poor customer service experience.

Good product range. You can buy most of your day-to-day necessities at one place. I love their backery items more. Good collection of backery items at reasonable price. Ample parking. Better customer service.

Very poor experience. This shop feels like a government office, and even government offices are 10x better than this. The checkout process was a mess, and we couldn’t get our goods. The system is totally disorganized. We wasted more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. There is no proper system, and employees were just standing around doing nothing.

Sometimes basic goods such as green onions or eggs are not available. A good assortment, there is a loyalty card, you can save and spend bonuses. Fabric goods and bed linen are more expensive than in other places. The staff is friendly. They will help you find or weigh the goods.
