I came to this dental because a friend recommended it, and after reading the positive Google reviews, I expected to receive professional, high quality care. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I visited the clinic for a severe toothache. After examining me, the dentist told me I needed a dental X-ray before treatment. This is where my concerns began. The first X-ray was taken incorrectly and had to be repeated. A different staff member took the second X-ray. As a patient, it appeared that multiple nurses were performing X-rays rather than a dedicated, qualified radiology professional. Having to repeat an X-ray because of an error is concerning, as unnecessary radiation exposure should be avoided whenever possible. For a clinic of this size, I expected imaging to be performed by properly trained and authorized personnel. If my understanding of the regulations is correct, dental X-rays should only be taken by individuals who are appropriately qualified and permitted to do so. If that is not the case, I believe the clinic should review its procedures to ensure they comply with professional standards and applicable regulations. This experience left me questioning the clinic's quality control and commitment to patient safety.
