Absolutely the best grocery store in Sri-Lanka!!!! Service is great!!!! We went in to the pharmacy, this is the only pharmacy that could help us, as lot of the service people spoke English. Also, we shopped for our trip food and few pots and pans, the girls helped us a lot, thanks for all the help. We recommend, EL Kade, for all the foreigners and locals for their one stop shopping. Since I am also balangoda I usually visit here for shopping. Great service and can find all the things at one place. Usually Its hard to find my sister's medicine, but here it's always available. Not too much crowded. So we can do the shopping peacefully

The shop is very good, but the behavior of the girls in the beauty section was very disappointing. I think they are external employees and new. However, they made customers feel extremely uncomfortable. They looked at customers in a disrespectful way and were laughing, which felt humiliating. I felt so uncomfortable that I had to put back the items I wanted to buy and leave.

I am often shopping at EAL Balangoda. Even now while I writing the review in their parking lots. The staffs in the groceries, uncle aunty they are very courteous and helpful. But today I experienced quite annoying moment with the cashier, the girls whose chatting cheerfully. When she did the check out in the counter rudely take and put the things, keep talking with her colleagues while serving the customer. Handed my money change but look away. First time I met such kind of incident, so sad. Other thing is the product that EAL sale getting lesser, before I come here because of their wide variety of items. I will still comeback but will avoid those cheeky cashier.
