Salon LIYO

Tried Salon Liyo for Pedicure. The area was nicely setup, clean and attractive. I personally believe Salon Liyo is for famous people or influencers. This is not gonna be my next place for pedicure ever again.

I have been a Liyo customer since 2018. They always treat me very well. I have tried 3 or 4 other high-rated salons during this period, but I never received service like Liyo gives. I’ve trusted them for everything keratin treatments, haircuts, makeup, relaxing, and conditioning. Even though the owners are not involved in every single service, they are very responsible for each individual's care. This time I went for a haircut and color. The haircut was done by Sam , it is superb and I love it! The hair color was done by Sandeepa. He gave me the best service as usual with such nice customer care. Since it was my very first time coloring my hair, I was a bit afraid of what would happen. But first, they showed me a sample to match my requirement. I didn’t expect such lovely service! 🥰 The final result is even better than what I requested. Thanks a lot. 🫶🏻❤️ I truly believe a big reason for the salon’s improvement is the owners' honest and lovely smiles. Note: Look at my hair after the wash, it looks amazing! 👀

I just had a terrible service experience, and I think it is important to share. I have very curly black hair, and I wanted to do highlights for the first time in my life. I trusted Salon Liyo because of its excellent reputation and because I had a great hair cut once before. I was so excited but nervous, and I specifically asked the hair stylist whether he had experience with highlighting curly hair. I told him I wanted to highlight the curls (not everywhere), and I asked him whether he had experience with curly hair bc the technique needed might be different from that needed for straight hair. I showed him several photos for inspiration and told him I wanted a darker brown colour, as in the photos. He insisted that he had lots of experience with colouring hair, and he suggested using mahogany brown. When he completed my hair, it was absolutely terrible, and I am thoroughly disappointed. The colour was more of a copper colour, and the highlights completely broke my natural curl pattern! The highlights are a terrible jumble, not in any way highlighting any of my curls. It just looks disheveled and terrible. I wish someone with actual experience with curly hair would have done my hair. I asked so many times when I booked my appointment for someone with experience colouring curly hair, and they said that all their stylists are good. Now that I am reading about what went wrong, I see that they should have used techniques like bayalage or pintura to properly highlight curls, not the regular foil technique that he used. I strongly believe that the stylist should have known the correct technique to use, not me! I spent so much money on these highlights, and I am so disappointed. I am attaching a photo taken at the salon of the back of my hair after the stylist diffused my hair. He insisted that he had done a good job and that it looked good, which was simply false. This was how I looked when I walked out of the salon. How could anyone possibly think this looks good?! 🤦🏾‍♀️😭 I wish I could get my money and my regular hair back.

I highly recommend Salon Liyo. I have been a happy customer since 2019 and have always trusted them with my hair. Sam does my haircuts, and he is very talented and professional. Naveen takes care of my hair colour and always gives me great advice on how to protect and maintain healthy hair. I truly appreciate their skill, care, and friendly service.
