I had a very disappointing experience with Nail Bar Nawala. I got my nails done last Thursday for a wedding I was attending on Saturday. Unfortunately, by Friday night around 9.30pm, one of my nails broke. Since it was late and most salons were already closed, I had to urgently find someone to fix it. Thankfully, Nails Spa CCC kindly took me in at short notice. The nail technician there pointed out that the nail was extremely thin and explained that this was likely the reason it broke. He also showed me several issues with the way my nails had been done. As I was already stressed and had very little time before the wedding, I had no choice but to get an extension on the broken nail and a gel polish applied to cover everything. I paid over Rs. 8,000 at Nail Bar Nawala, and the nails did not even last a day. The technician at Nails Spa CCC can confirm the condition of the nail when I went in. Unfortunately, I was in such a rush and stressed at the time that I didn’t manage to take a photo before getting it fixed. After the wedding, another nail also broke, just as the technician had warned. What was even more disappointing is that my mother’s nails were done by a different technician at the same time and hers are perfectly fine, which makes me question the quality and care given during my appointment. I am extremely unhappy with the service, the quality of work, and the stress this caused right before an important event. Spending over Rs. 8,000 for nails that don’t even last one day is unacceptable. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves their service.

This is my 2 nd experience from the nail bar , I visit yesterday 03.03.2025 this place for my nail extension .I arrived 4.50pm . The nail artist I got Mayumi ,her had a poor client service . Her started my nails 4.55pm and it finished 5.37 pm. I have done many nail extension other places but never experience like this. She had a emergency I don't knw thats why? . I said during the extension shortcomings but she didnt care . And also I think she didnt have technique Knowledge about the nails, I Mrs Menu please hire experience nail technicians for your salon . Can't recommended the service. That's not a price worth the service.

I’m writing this because I saw a similar situation happen again. It’s sad such a good place is going bad Cz of one employee. I didn’t make a bad review because the owner was kind but after seeing the same lady messing up nails again for another,I had to write. I’ve got my nails done from here twice. A boy did my nails and it was perfect and then my sister got hers from another she did a good job too.. so I chose them to get my nails done for my wedding from these guys with a prior appointment. & this lady I got did a extremely horrible job.My toe nails looked as if a 4yrs old put nail polish & my cuticles were bleeding and cut and she buffed them crazy heartlessly. I told her I’m not happy with the finish and it’s my wedding, she spoke to me as if I did something wrong. & she rushed home.🤷🏻‍♀️ Others tried saving it but they couldn’t do much.I could’ve done a better job myself. This was 2 days before my wedding and I had no recovery time. I complained to the owner she agreed to fix it with no additional charge. She agreed it was badly done..& the day I had to rest before my wedding I spent it fixing my nails. Regardless it was a horrible experience and a bride. had I have had one day what would I do?! I advised the owner to look into this matter and take action,so that no bride ever goes through this again. However I went again yesterday for a extension removal (after 1.5yrs later) Hoping they’ve improved but I saw the same lady on the middle table having problems with another client & she again spoke to her the same way she did to me & said “ මේක හදනවා නම් අයිත් buff කරලා nail color ආයිත් දාන්න ඕනේ” arrogantly. And the client said “it’s your mistake so fix it” & she did. I watched the incident carefully recalling my incident and hence I’m writing this today. Please take action before she disappoints many more clients & you lose business. I would never visit you again at all..& never recommend you to any..I see many 1 ⭐️ reviews and I wonder if it was the same person I speak of because they all have had the same problem “painted nails like a kid did” 1st two pictures initial job. 3rd picture is after the owner fixed it. I’m sorry but not so sorry for your negligence or not taking action.

Highly recommend The Nail Bar. Love the amazing work by Mayumi as always..
