Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. The room was stunning, the food was absolutely amazing, and every meal was worth every bite. Our son also loved the Aliya Kids Club, it's beautifully maintained, offers plenty of fun activities, and the staff there were fantastic. To make our stay even more memorable, we were given a beautiful blessing upon departure. It was a touching way to end an unforgettable holiday. Traveling with elderly family members (my parents and aunt) can often present unique challenges, but the team at Anantara Kalutara Resort went above and beyond to make our 3-day stay completely seamless. Every detail—from mobility assistance to tailored dietary requirements—was handled with immense care. Even before our arrival, the team reached out to coordinate our preferences. Upon landing at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by Lashan (Front Office Manager), Hasuni (Executive Assistant Manager), and the Executive Sous Chef. Highlights of Our Stay: The Villa: We stayed in a breathtaking 2-bedroom villa with a private pool. The room was stocked with a fine tea selection, Nespresso machine, and a great mini-bar. Exceptional Service: Our villa host, Krish, was phenomenal! He showed us around the property, including a stunning sunset spot right where the river meets the ocean. Dining: Room service exceeded our expectations—the Chef personally called to check on us! We also loved dining at the All-Day Dining restaurant and Spice Traders. The flavors spanning Sri Lankan, Indian, and Thai cuisine were perfect. Don't miss their signature cocktails infused with local twists like curry leaves! Activities & Spa: Thanks to Chamara and Dinesh from Concierge, we took a fun tuk-tuk tour around the city and spent time on the beach. The spa was an absolute highlight—special thanks to Kendal (Spa Manager), Joity, Hansani, and Niroshani for an extraordinary experience. A massive thank you to Yeshan, Banuka, and Sashitha from the restaurant team for their incredible attentiveness, and to GM Christoph for leading such an outstanding team. We will definitely be back!
