We had a wonderful three-day stay at Club Waskaduwa with my two children. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making our stay very relaxing. The room service was excellent, always prompt and attentive to our needs.
The food was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of delicious dishes throughout our stay. What truly made our experience special was the outstanding staff. Every team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, ensuring that both my children and I felt welcome and comfortable.
Thank you, Club Waskaduwa, for creating such memorable family moments. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for great hospitality, excellent food, and a relaxing getaway. We look forward to visiting again!

Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected of a 5-star hotel.
My wife and I booked this hotel to celebrate a special occasion, expecting a memorable experience. Instead, we were shocked by the poor quality of the facilities and service.
The most serious issue was that there was no hot water from check-in until the following morning, despite reporting it to reception at around 4:30 PM and again at 7:00 PM. We were told the hot water would be available after 5:30 PM and later promised a follow-up, but nobody got back to us and the problem remained unresolved.
When we came down from our room on the 3rd floor to the lobby at around 6:30 PM, the lobby and surrounding areas were noticeably dark, with lights only being switched on after guests had arrived. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere and raised concerns about safety.
The dining area was also uncomfortable due to the lack of proper air conditioning.
The room showed signs of poor maintenance, including mould on the curtain blinds. Basic amenities expected in a hotel of this category were missing, including shower caps, bath slippers, and body lotion. The minibar was completely empty.
A hotel advertised as 5-star should provide basic comforts, proper maintenance, prompt service, and attention to guest concerns. Based on our experience, this property falls far short of those expectations and felt closer to a 2-star hotel than a genuine 5-star resort.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a true 5-star experience.

To be completely honest, we booked a triple room through Agoda. While the room was spacious, we encountered several issues with cleanliness. The third bed looked like a folding bed, which wasn't a major problem since the bedding was comfortable. However, the legs of the bed were covered in cobwebs, and the wallpaper was peeling off in places.
We also had a non-functional TV and flickering lights in the room. At first, we thought the flickering lights would be tolerable, but before long, they gave us headaches. To make matters worse, there was no way to turn off only those two flickering lights without switching off all the lights in the room. Although these issues were promptly addressed after we informed the front desk, it was frustrating to have them fixed only after we had already checked in and were settling in.
I honestly got the impression that the room was allocated to us based on our appearance or because we were local guests—though I can't say for sure. We chose this property after comparing many deals, but unfortunately, it will not be one of our future stops. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at Club Waskaduwa. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options available throughout our stay. What truly stood out was the exceptional service – the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making our experience even more enjoyable.
While the amenities were not the most luxurious, they were more than adequate considering the value for money offered by the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the hospitality. We would definitely recommend Club Waskaduwa to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway with great food and outstanding service.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and generally well maintained. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t even a spoon available in the room to make tea/coffee. The bathroom shower was not working properly, and the water pressure was extremely high, which made it uncomfortable to use.
The meals were delicious, but there was not much variety in the food options.
The lobby area and overall maintenance could be improved. Cutlery was not provided at the tables, and there were no tissues/napkins available, which was quite inconvenient.
The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but at the time of our visit, the gym and spa were not available. Management should pay more attention to these facilities and overall service improvements, especially if they are targeting foreign guests.
Overall, the hotel has good potential with clean and spacious rooms, but attention to these details would greatly improve the guest experience.
