Fox Jaffna by Fox Resorts

Our family stayed at Fox for two nights and it was amazing. The hotel surrounding was very nice and the rooms were neat and clean. Their service was amazing too. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, they could incorporate more Jaffna authentic food items into the menu for the ones having meals from them. That would’ve given a better experience into Jaffna culture. But other than that everything else was great. Would recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fox Jaffna Resort. The property itself is beautiful, full of character and history, and is lovingly maintained. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. From Trevin, the RM, to Lakshika at reception and Scotty, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Sujeewa, who was exceptional throughout our stay. He remembered all our preferences, was always happy to help, and somehow always seemed to be around whenever we needed anything. One of my favourite places was the pool, and you almost forget you're right in the middle of Jaffna city limits. Listening to the birds and the prayers from the nearby kovils while relaxing by the pool was very idyllic, and you never hear any of the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - and actually might just do that on our next visit to Jaffna.

Our stay at Fox Resort Jaffna was truly memorable, made even more special by the exceptional hospitality of the team. A special mention goes to our guide, Kabilan, who conducted an excellent tour of Jaffna. The itinerary was well organized, informative, and offered great value for money. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and the restaurant staff were consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming. We were also incredibly grateful to Scotty, who noticed that my friend had left her purse behind in the restaurant and personally called us before bringing it to our room in the middle of the night. That level of honesty and dedication is truly commendable. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu halfway through our stay. During that time, Andrew and Sanjeewa went above and beyond to check on me regularly and ensure I was as comfortable as possible. Their genuine care and kindness made a difficult situation much easier, and I will always remember their thoughtfulness. Thank you to the entire team at Fox Resort Jaffna. We look forward to returning.

We recently spent 3 wonderful days in Jaffna and had the pleasure of experiencing Fox Resort Jaffna and what an incredible experience it was! Although we stayed three nights in Jaffna, we initially made a mistake in our booking by deciding to spend our first night at another branded hotel closer to town. However, we spent the last two nights at Fox Resort Jaffna, and it truly became the highlight of our trip. As a group of five hoteliers, we genuinely appreciated the level of hospitality extended to us. The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. The property itself is elegant and full of character, almost as if it holds thousands of untold stories within its walls. A special thank you to GM Trevine for the warm welcome and genuine care throughout our stay. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Andrew, the F&B Manager, who not only looked after all our requirements but also spent time sharing stories that made our experience even more special. A big highlight was the exceptional culinary experience by Chef Pushpe. His delicious creations, especially the authentic Jaffna cuisine, gave us a truly memorable dining experience particularly for first timers like myself. We would also like to thank Sanjeewa at the front office, who went beyond his duties to guide us with planning our daily activities and offering helpful directions. Overall, our stay was excellent, and Fox Resort Jaffna has now become a part of our lifetime memories. My wife and I stayed here on June 29th and 30th. And for the room with a bed and breakfast, it cost us 30k. This place is in the heart of Jaffna and many attractions are nearby. On arrival is looked like a compacted place but there's so much space behind the property and it's very well managed and looks so good. We had dinner here also and the table set up was quite romantic and we had Crab curry, pittu and some appetizers which were out of this world. Crab curry was heavenly. Cudos to the chef. Food itself wasn't expensive but after government tax and service charge, it came up to almost 10k. Anyway, I would surely love to visit this place again. It's quite relaxing and calm and you can't imagine you are in the middle of a town area.
